Dear Colleagues,

*The Henry Ford’s Building Stories writing contest* invites students in
grades 3-12 to write a creative story that celebrates Rosa Parks, one of
America’s greatest social innovators. Stories will be based on primary
sources about Parks from the collections of The Henry Ford, including the
very bus where she made her historic stand. Students in grades 3-12 can
enter for a chance to win prizes including an iPad Air, with one talented
student having his or her story published by The Henry Ford. We encourage
you to introduce this contest to your library patrons. The deadline for
submissions is *March 1, 2016*. All information about the contest,
including the primary sources, application details, and a list of prizes,
can be found here: *www.thehenryford.org/BuildingStories
<http://www.thehenryford.org/BuildingStories>*.

Best regards,
Alison Greenlee
