I would like to encourage library directors to pass along the information about the upcoming FOML Trustee Alliance Workshop on October 2 in Petoskey. Each year the Friends of Michigan Libraries Trustee Alliance provides training and this fall the session is set in beautiful Petoskey.
The full agenda and registration link can be found here: http://fomltrusteealliance.org/2015-fall-workshop/ Registration includes materials, snacks and a lunch for $30 per person or only $20 if the participant or board is a FOML Trustee Alliance member. Stafford's Perry Hotel is offering a corporate discounted rate for lodging as well.
This is a full day event that includes a variety of sessions of interest to public library trustees and directors. The agenda features both presentation time and table talks where trustees can visit and learn from peers. Don't miss out on this networking and learning opportunity. The deadline to register is September 11.
We look forward to meeting a great group of trustees and directors in Petoskey this October.
