[Michlib-l] Herrick District Library Millage Overwhelmingly Passes!

Our HDL millage passed by 85%, including a whopping 91.9% in the City of Holland! This was our first vote as a District Library and the ballot language was confusing, asking people to approve a "new and additional tax," so a huge effort was required to inform voters that this was a renewal of our millage and not a new tax. Thank you Holland, we love you!



Park Township 85.1% Yes (3881 yes votes out of 4561 votes cast)

Holland Township 79.6% yes (3091 yes votes of 3884 cast)

Holland City 91.9% (5236 yes out of 5699 cast)

Laketown Township 83.6% (2349 yes of 2801 cast)



Total 85.9% yes.  (14557 yes out of 16945 votes)
