[Michlib-l] Leland Public Library Millage

So very pleased to report that our reorganization as a PA 164 library and
.4, eight year millage passed in our Township by a vote of 449 to 157!
Couldn't be prouder of our community for supporting this action and making
us an independent, VOTER APPROVED and FUNDED public library.

Sending our deepest appreciation and thanks to all those in the library
community who offered support, and helped make this happen, especially Lance
Werner (Kent District Library Director), Julie Meredith (Director of the
Clarkston Independence District Library), Barb Pallotta (Independence
Township Clerk) and John Chrastka from EveryLibrary.  Your insights and
experience were invaluable to us on this journey.
