[Michlib-l] SEMLOL Call for proposals Spring Meeting: Library on a Dime

The Southeastern Michigan League of Libraries
<http://www.semlol.org/index.php>, SEMLOL, is preparing a program for the
Spring membership meeting titled, Library on a Dime:  Low or No Cost Tools
or Resources. We welcome presentation, lightning talk, and poster proposals
sharing your library’s efforts to reduce costs.  Examples include, but are
not limited to, open source software, free tutorial delivery systems, and
patron driven acquisition. Best practices, projects, and creative ideas are
all welcome. Presentations should be 40 minutes long, including time for
questions.  Lightning talks will be no longer than 10 minutes. Posters
should be 48” x 36”.

The Spring SEMLOL meeting will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019, 1:00
pm - 4:00 pm at Davenport University, Warren Michigan.

To submit a proposal, please send a title, name of speaker(s), and an
abstract of no more than 250 words to semlol.board at gmail.com by Monday,
January 21, 2019. Accepted proposals will be notified by the end of January.

LIS students are encouraged to submit proposals based on their coursework,
jobs or internships.
