[Michlib-l] The MI PR Group is back

Hi Everyone,

Myself and Mary Ruthko from Bay County Library System are reviving the
MI PR Group.  The MI PR Group an informal PR group to work together and
share our successes, learn from our non-successes and put our brains
together to try and tackle issues and help all of our libraries.

We invite anyone involved with marketing or public relations in
libraries to this group.

We will be meeting on Monday, December 3 from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the
Southfield Public Library in the Meeting Room.

Agenda:
	●  Introductions
	●  Presentation by Liz Breed, Michigan eLibrary Coordinator
	●  Roundtable discussion about marketing the MEL databases
both to the public and our own staff
	●  Introduction to Dale Jaslove, Community Engagement
Specialist, TLN
	●  Going around the table - what are you up to at your
library


We are striving toward having 3 - 4 meetings a year and hopefully even
an unconference!  We are also working on building a website for our
group.
