Survey Time!
Ready to Read Michigan
We ask that you help us both improve the program and provide information to the program funders by completing our program survey by April 26th. Your feedback on the number of programs you have and how many children participate is very important to the continuation of funding for the statewide program. The survey link is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RTRM2019<https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.surveymonkey.com%2Fr%2FRTRM2019&data=02%7C01%7Clancasterc5%40michigan.gov%7C4a7a825818a242e81d1708d6bf60fd92%7Cd5fb7087377742ad966a892ef47225d1%7C0%7C0%7C636906820632737242&sdata=Fo01rp3ymbWDDjmrhoUx%2FtMc7x0dlc32XEvXjEUyVu0%3D&reserved=0>.

Sesame Workshop Survey for Youth Librarians
The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop has just launched a survey for youth librarians <https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.surveymonkey.com%2Fr%2Flibrary-learning&data=02%7C01%7Clancasterc5%40michigan.gov%7C4a7a825818a242e81d1708d6bf60fd92%7Cd5fb7087377742ad966a892ef47225d1%7C0%7C0%7C636906820632747250&sdata=NP%2Bp%2FF72g5ZLVBrbUXiuuuJ1oAIwf29zXpO%2FnK5ozDA%3D&reserved=0> as part of its Families Learning Across Boundaries <https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fjoanganzcooneycenter.org%2Finitiative%2Ffamilies-learning-across-boundaries%2F&data=02%7C01%7Clancasterc5%40michigan.gov%7C4a7a825818a242e81d1708d6bf60fd92%7Cd5fb7087377742ad966a892ef47225d1%7C0%7C0%7C636906820632757258&sdata=wa35atH206H1o8URrgeZdZ%2Bvlv%2F9TarZcF370AcE82I%3D&reserved=0> project. Individuals who work with children ages 3 to 12 in public and school libraries can take the survey through the end of April to help with the project's goal, which is to create a "more comprehensive picture of how children are linking their learning experiences across home, school, and beyond, and the roles that adults play in helping children cultivate and bridge their interests." Knowing the role librarians play in fostering children's interest-driven learning, the center hopes to use this survey to gain stronger insights into the ways they encourage children's interest-driven learning and foster family engagement within their communities.
