HathiTrust is a global partnership of 150+ major research institutions and
libraries based at the University of Michigan working towards its mission
to ensure that the cultural record is preserved and accessible long into
the future.
Reporting to the Executive Director, and working out of HathiTrust’s
offices at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, the Enterprise
Architect will provide leadership for planning, developing, and maintaining
HathiTrust’s current and future technology infrastructure, which supports a
portfolio of activities that include collection aggregation and management,
long term preservation, discovery and access, rights management, and
computational research. The Enterprise Architect will work as a key
partner with the Director of Services and Operations and other HathiTrust
staff and technical teams to develop and articulate a coherent strategic
vision for HathiTrust’s long-term technical direction, and lead that
vision’s execution. The Enterprise Architect will lead the effort to assess
needs, plan our technology roadmap, and implement it.
This position will be a full-time, three-year term appointment with the
