[Michlib-l] Michigan Activity Pass: Two New Partner Destinations (And Hopefully a Third Very Soon, a "Biggie")

Good Morning, 

Two new partner destinations, Michigamme Museum in Michigamme [ http://www.michigammetownship.com/michigamme-museum | http://www.michigammetownship.com/michigamme-museum ] and Mopeds2u in Southfield [ https://www.mopeds2u.com/ | https://www.mopeds2u.com/ ] have joined the Michigan Activity Pass [ http://www.plymouthrockets.com/michiganactivitypass/ | http://www.plymouthrockets.com/michiganactivitypass/ ] program. This brings the total number of participants to 472! 

I admit to having had some reservations concerning the second listing, due to the commercial nature of the venture as well as the fact that there is some degree of risk involved. But after giving it some thought it occurred to me that with a MAP pass patrons can receive a discount to jump out of an airplane [ https://www.skydivetecumseh.com/ | https://www.skydivetecumseh.com/  ] take a boat ride [ https://www.sheplersferry.com/ | https://www.sheplersferry.com/ ] or zip through the trees [ https://www.treerunnergrandrapids.com/ | https://www.treerunnergrandrapids.com/ ] All of these (and more) are commercial ventures. All carry with them at least some inherent degree of risk for the participants. But all of them also have one other, vital thing in common, in that they are fun. So here they are! 

The subject line of this email includes a reference to a possible third new MAP partner, a "biggie", that hopefully will be signing on soon. I have been working on this one since February, which may sound like a long time, but that time lag is not uncommon. Some destinations end up being works in progress for years before they actually sign up. It is our hope that this potential third new partner will get on board with MAP in Fall, 2019.
