*Position: Technology Supervisor, Part-time*

*Grade: 4 *

*Reports to:  Head of Information Technology*



*Job Duties:*

   - Supervises the i-Cube space and assists patrons with the use of the
   equipment.
   - Designs and implements creative and innovative programming.
   - Develop and implement programs, services, and projects with new and
   emerging technology.
   - Operates and maintains equipment; 3D Printers, VR Technology, Wacom
   MobileStudio Pro Tablet, VHS to DVD, Vinyl/Cassette to Digital, and more.
   - Demonstrates technology outside of the library at community events.
   - Works with volunteer experts and instructors to provide programs,
   demonstrations, and classes in the i-Cube.



*Job Requirements*

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred.

·         Working knowledge of makerspaces.

·         Artistic proficiency and creative mindset.

·         Knowledge of coding and CAD.

·         Skill in implementing appropriate programs for patrons of all
ages; including, identification of outside talent sources.

·         Inspired to provide exceptional customer service.

·         Ability to adapt and respond to multiple priorities,
interruptions and demands, and resolve problem situations in a positive
manner.

·         Communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and
professional colleagues.

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

·         Values diversity in the workplace and in the community.

·         Ability to speak multiple languages helpful.

·         Excellent oral and written communications skills.

·         Physical mobility, vision, hearing, and manual dexterity
essential.

·         Maintain physical condition necessary for sitting, standing,
bending, and /or walking for extended periods of time; stooping; crouching;
reaching; carrying books or boxes of books; pushing book carts; seeing;
keyboarding; using the telephone; lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying
objects weighing up to 50 pounds; push or pull with wheeled cart up to 500
pounds; operating assigned equipment; picking up litter; spreading ice melt.

·         Evening and weekend hours are required.



*Salary: *$14.50 per hour



*Hours:* 20 hours per week

·         Tuesday, 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

·         Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

·         Thursday, 4 – 9 p.m.

·         Saturday, 1 – 6 p.m.



*Benefits:*  Time benefits (vacation, personal business, holiday and sick)
based on a part-time employee formula.
