The Board of Trustees of the Glenview Public Library in Glenview, Illinois seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Library Director. The library is renowned for its excellent staff, supportive board of trustees, and engaged community.

The library serves about 45,000 residents of the Village of Glenview, considered to be one of Chicago’s premier suburbs. Located north of Chicago, the community offers all the amenities of suburban life plus easy access to the Chicago metro region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to lead the library forward as it continues to embrace its central role in the community. This opportunity is available due to the upcoming retirement of the current Director.

Salary $110,000 - $170,000/year, negotiable based on experience.
