This month's Library Law Spotlight Webinar, on JULY 29, 2020 @ 11:00am-12:pm will discuss Library Trustees' authority and duty.

The recent months have introduced many uncertainties to libraries and, for some, may have uncovered a few less-than-clear areas of library authority and decision making. This session will review the purpose, responsibilities and limits of public library boards of trustees and answer the age-old questions:

What do Boards do?
What can Boards do?
What should Boards do?

If you know someone (board member, director, or staff) who could use an introduction or refresher- or clarification on the duties and responsibilities of Public Library Board Trustees, then this session is for them.
