[Michlib-l] Circulating Chromebooks

Colleagues,
Aside from a few requests for me to share the information I gleaned, all
the responses to my question were on the order of "we do not currently
circulate them". Several libraries indicated that they have applied for
grants which will be used to begin this service. A few are coupling them
with WiFi hotspots. Taylor Community Library purchased some chromebooks
for a temporary socially distanced computer lab. They hope to repurpose
them as circulating chromebooks once they are finished using them for the
computer lab. Royal Oak is lending them (with a hotspot) for 2 weeks.
