[Michlib-l] Pet lovers - PMDL needs your help

Good morning all,

It is getting close to Irish season here in Clare County and our community is getting ready to celebrate the Clare Irish Festival the weekend of March 14th.  For several years the Pere Marquette District Library has sponsored the Irish Pet Contest in partnership with our Parks and Recreation Department.  Unfortunately, this year contestant photos are slow to be submitted.

To share the importance of our Irish Pet Photo Contest, my amazing library staff (Kevin & Rocio) created this infomercial to illustrate just how cute, Irish pet photos can change a person’s life.  https://youtu.be/Z2nQ0lA1D30?t=1

I hope you will take a minute out of your day and watch our infomercial. The cost is submit a photo is just $5.00.  All funds raised from the Irish Pet Photo Contest will go to our local Spay-Neuter-Animal Project (S-NAP)  Pets do not need to be from Clare.  If you pet is selected as a winner, prizes will be mailed to you.   First prize is a mini photo session from Guys & Dolls Photography in Clare, 2nd place is a $50.00 gift card from Jay’s, and 3rd prize is $25.00 gift card from Johnston Elevator Company in Clare.
