Just a reminder that the Library of Michigan has already purchased the PLA Early Literacy Calendar (featured in the PLA message below) for public libraries across Michigan.

Due to limited quantities purchased I cannot share the links widely via this listserv, but once your director forwards them to staff you are free to download the materials and use as you see fit to engage your patrons/community:

  *   PLA’s 2021 Early Literacy Activities Calendar: HOT “off the presses!!!” Libraries can print and distribute it to patrons monthly, use it in e-Newsletters, or even post it on your library website!
  *   Every Child Ready to Read Toolkit for Serving Early Childhood Educators (2017):  This toolkit comes with a guide to serving early childhood educators, pre-made slides, fillable agendas, and more!  Please use this to engage early childhood educators in your community.
