*Preferred Qualifications: *
▪  Specialized knowledge or a degree in a scientific, technical,
engineering or medical subject area.

*Job Specific Required Qualifications: *

   - Master’s Degree in Information and Library Science from a program
   accredited by the American Library Association. One to three years
   professional library experience.
   - Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
   -  Advanced knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and best
   practices related to library document services and interlibrary loan.
   - Excellent working knowledge of copyright, fair use, and other
   intellectual property issues as they pertain to library resources.
   - Advanced-level facility with library systems, including OCLC, library
   system platforms such as Alma, electronic resource management and digital
   repositories.
   - Ability to meet deadlines, lead teams of peers, work independently,
   apply policies and procedures consistently, conduct research, and present
   recommendations. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage conflicting
   priorities.
   - Advanced-level skills with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in
   Excel.
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team skills and
   attention to detail.
   - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
   - Understanding and commitment to Kettering University Values
