2021 Noche de Cuentos Mini-Grants Program<https://www.reforma.org/noche-grants>
REFORMA will award 8 mini-grants of $300 to support a Noche de Cuentos program during Latino Heritage Month, September 15 - October 15, 2021.
Public libraries, academic libraries, school libraries, and community organizations in the United States including Puerto Rico are eligible to apply.

Library of Congress: new book on Japanese Culture as depicted in American children's books
Sybille Jagusch, chief of the Library's Literature Center, has just published "Japan and American Children's Books<https://blogs.loc.gov/loc/2021/07/japan-in-u-s-childrens-books-a-new-world/?loclr=ealocb>," a gorgeously illustrated volume that details how Japan and Japanese culture has been portrayed in American children's books over the past two centuries.
