[Michlib-l] Returning to In-Person Programming in the Fall?

Hi! I am a smallish class 3 library. We will be returning to in-person programming in September. We will start off slow, ease our way back in, and play it by ear. Our patrons have been very respectful of our staff and the safeties we have in place, and I anticipate a smooth transition.

We are doing in-person outdoor programming for the summer, and we will see in the Fall. Our meeting room is very small. Right now we are only allowing very small groups or individuals to use it. My hope is programming will be more back to normal by the Fall.

We are. We have hosted several at this point and people love it! They follow the same guidelines as other library patrons – masks required unless fully vaccinated, 2 and under, medical condition….

Good morning everyone!
As things are slowly creeping back to normal, I was wondering what everyone was thinking about in-person programming returning to libraries.
Our library is small and I’m debating announcing the return of in-person Book Club for Adults and in-person Yarn Arts Circle starting in September. Before the pandemic, these programs would usually range from 5-10 people, so not many as far as programs go.
Is anyone else toying with this idea at the moment? I’d appreciate any shared thoughts.
