[Michlib-l] Job Opportunities at the Jackson District Library-Assistant Director and Children's Librarian

Good Morning-
The Jackson District Library(JDL) has two employment opportunities available, Assistant Director for the district and Children's Librarian for our Meijer Branch.

For our Assistant Director, JDL is seeking a strong, energetic, positive person to fill the role. This person will report to the Library Director and assist the Director in overseeing the operations of the library system. In addition, the role of the Assistant Director includes supervising a team of outstanding Branch Managers, Customer Service Specialist, as well as the Community Engagement Manager. You must be flexible and radiate positivity as you work with the JDL team to promote the service-minded culture and the vision for future library service for the Jackson community.

For our Children's Librarian, JDL is seeking a talented youth librarian to work at the Meijer Branch. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who is outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic and has a passion for services and programming for youth of all ages. This candidate will also be an engaging individual who brings innovative ideas, takes initiative, and seeks to expand collaborations and partnerships throughout our community.

Our library has 13 branch locations and will be welcoming a bookmobile to our community later this year.  We are looking for candidates that are eager to work as part of a countywide team to engage and expand services to our community.
