Hello Everyone,
Please join us for a virtual event this Wednesday, 3/24/21 at 7 pm for The
Mackinac Bridge: Then & Now. Celebrate Women's History Month with Kim
Nowack, Executive Secretary and CEO of the Mackinac Bridge Authority (MBA).
As the first woman to be appointed Chief Engineer of the MBA, Ms. Nowack
spent 17 years overseeing bridge design, construction, maintenance, and
inspection. Kim will share the history, evolution and future of the
63-year-old “Mighty Mac,” the fifth longest suspension bridge in the world
and the longest bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
