Public Library Financial Management Guide Updates<https://libraryofmichigan.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/libraryofmichigan/event.jsp?event=2177> February 8, 10:30am ET - The Library of Michigan, with Alan Panter of Yeo and Yeo, have updated the Public Library Financial Management Guide in 2021. Join us for an overview of the recent changes.

How to File Form 471<https://libraryofmichigan.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/libraryofmichigan/event.jsp?event=2210&> February 10, 1:00-2:00pm ET - Perhaps the most important steps in the annual E-Rate Application Filing Window, How to File Form 471 webinar will guide library applicants preparing, drafting, and certifying the Form 471. The webinar will cover filing a contract record in the E-Rate Productivity Center (EPC), creating Funding Requests, and certifying the Form 471. Additionally, the webinar will provide library applicants with an understanding of essential E-Rate compliance requirements.

Policies Before Posting (Social Media & Public Libraries)<https://libraryofmichigan.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/libraryofmichigan/event.jsp?event=2215&> February 25, 10:00am ET - Social media is an engaging and efficient tool for public libraries, but the utilization of these services comes with certain pitfalls that can cause headaches (and lawsuits) for public entities. This session discusses legal implications of common social media concerns- from posting guidelines to the removal of patron comments.
