Are you looking to boost your income?  The AHPL is seeking a qualified Substitute Librarian to provide professional library services to users of all ages.  This position is on an “as needed basis”.

Position: Substitute Librarian
Hourly Pay: Up to $19.00 based on experience.
Hours: Weeknights and weekends including Sundays.  Weeknight shifts are generally 5-8 p.m.

Primary Duties:

  *   Serve as reference and readers advisory to library users in-person and by phone.
  *   Assist computer users.
  *   Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:

  *   MLIS from accredited institution.
  *   Experience working in public libraries preferred.
  *   Flexibility and dependability.
  *   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
