Branch Head, Zauel Memorial Library, Public Libraries of Saginaw:  Library system with four outlets needs an organized, community-minded and dedicated person to supervise the Zauel Branch Library.

Duties and responsibilities:  This position involves supervision of library operation on a day-to-day basis, including staff supervision, materials selection, provision of reference and Reader's Advisor service, preparation and submission of budget requests, and other duties as assigned. The individual must be particularly skilled in planning, implementing, and evaluating public library services and will work with the Library Director to accomplish objectives.  Heavy emphasis will also be placed on interaction and planning of library services with various community organizations and the Saginaw Township Board.

Minimum education and experience:  Requires a master's degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA accredited program and five years of public library experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with strong supervisory experience and a working knowledge of current technology.

Salary range: $59,923 - $75,520 in six steps.  Excellent benefit package.
