Hi!
I have had success partnering with local theater make-up people for this kind of program. Specifically, I would have a theater make-up person show my teens how to create "realistic" Zombie wounds and how to apply make-up to look like the undead. She was great and the teens got a kick out of it.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Teen Special Effects Makeup Program
Hello,
My colleague and I are aiming to put on a special effects makeup workshop for teens in high school, this October. We have reached out to one company already, but found their prices to be a bit out of our budget. If anyone has done something like this before in their library, we would appreciate recommendations for businesses who offer this type of class / workshop.
Any other tips and suggestions are also welcome.
Thank you!
