[Michlib-l] Community Engagement Librarian (Manager) Position

Loutit District Library is located in Grand Haven, just blocks from
beautiful Lake Michigan.

Have fun coordinating library-wide programming, such as Summer and Winter
Reading Programs, Kindness month, and more! Do you enjoy collaborating with
others to bring great programs and services to the library? Do you want to
make a difference by building relationships in your community? Are you
interested in marketing the library and all the great things we do? If you
answered yes to these questions, you may be the perfect candidate to be the
next Community Engagement Librarian. The position works 40 hours per week
and supervises our part-time Marketing Coordinator.

Qualifications: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited college or
university. Strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and a
flexible schedule are required. Public library experience is a must,
preferably with experience in programming, and supervisory experience is
preferred.

Compensation: Salary for this position starts at $56,588 per year. This
position’s benefits include retirement, health, dental, vision, and life
insurance, as well as long-term disability insurance, PTO, vacation, sick,
and paid holiday time.
