We are putting up a display to match the theme of There's More to the Story by putting the first book in different book series out for patrons to choose from.

Over a few weeks in February, our Adult Services Department wrapped books in brown wrapping paper and provided a brief description from the book on an attached tag so they were checking out a book knowing very little about it (no title or author)

We did a similar thing during our 25th anniversary at Civic Center Library. Those books were from donations so the patron got to keep the book they selected.

My library is planning for NLW and we are struggling to come up with creative ideas that our patrons would love.

Does anyone have awesome ideas for this year's theme (There's More to the Story), or did you have awesome ideas you would love to share from prior years?
