[Michlib-l] National Summer Reading Champion & special booklist coming soon!

The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) 2023’s All Together Now National Summer Reading Champion will be announced on Monday, May 22nd – and it’s a big one! However, due to our partnership agreement, CSLP must keep it a secret for now… Meanwhile, we have the task of asking libraries to consider stocking the following titles that will be featured on a specially selected reading list our National Summer Reading Champion will be pushing out publicly. CSLP is asking member libraries to consider stocking the following books this summer, as patrons may come looking for them:

  *   Juneteenth by Van G. Garrett
  *   Summer is for Cousins by Dr. Rajani LaRocca
  *   Why Did the Monster Cross the Road? by R.L. Stine and Marc Brown

  *   Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume

  *   Ways to Grow Love (A Ryan Hart Story, 2) by Renee Watson
  *   Fall of The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
  *   The Human Kaboom by Adam Rubin
  *   Starfish by Lisa Fipps
  *   School Trip: A Graphic Novel by Jerry Craft
  *   Joy, to the World by Kai Shappley
  *   The Language of Seabirds by Will Taylor
