Join The Detroit Public Library for a Zoom discussion about the Dodge Fountain in Downtown Detroit on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 6pm EST.

Located at the center of Hart Plaza, the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain was designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1978 and built in 1981. This stunning, futuristic architectural achievement has experienced the same ups and downs as the city it inhabits.

During this interactive Zoom presentation, Amy Elliott Bragg from The Detroit News shares the story of the fountain's development, unique features and enduring legacy.
