Sponsored by Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures<https://ala.org/core>, Preservation Week inspires action to preserve personal, family, and community collections in addition to library, museum, and archive collections. It also raises awareness of the role libraries and other cultural institutions play in providing ongoing preservation education and information.

In honor of Preservation Week, the Library of Michigan is proud to present the free webinar How to Pick Your Policy: Creating a Digital Preservation Policy. Join Dr. Chelsea Denault, Coordinator for the Michigan Digital Preservation Network<http://mipres.org/>, for this webinar on creating and implementing a digital preservation policy. In this session you will learn what makes a good digital preservation policy, practice drafting a digital preservation policy, and understand future needs for keeping your policy current and relevant.
