The ALSC Professional Recognition and Scholarships Committee is currently accepting online nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Service Award!
This award honors an individual member of the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) who has made significant contributions to, and an impact on, library service to children and/or ALSC.
For more information and to read about past winners, visit the ALSC Distinguished Service Award page: https://www.ala.org/alsc/awardsgrants/profawards/distinguishedservice.

"The thing I remember best about successful people I've met all through the years is their obvious delight in what they're doing ... and it seems to have very little to do with worldly success. They just love what they're doing, and they love it in front of others." ~ Fred Rogers
