Hi Barbara,
We used to have an air fryer in our Library of Things collection at the
Royal Oak Public library, but we removed all of our cooking items because
they were either returned dirty ( we do not have a dishwasher here and so
there is no way to properly sanitize items that are returned this way).
Also, many of our items like cookie cutters did not circulate very well.
The air fryer that we had did circulate, but it was not always clean upon
return.
I suppose if you have a dishwasher at your library and a system in place to
check for items that are returned dirty and to clean them, then it might
not be a problem. We decided not to keep them.
