Subject: LM Hires New Managers for Library Development and Special Collections

I am pleased to announce that David Votta and Michelle Bradley began their new positions at the Library of Michigan on January 8.

David comes to the Library of Michigan with a wealth of skills and an ability to work closely with researchers, staff, and libraries. He most recently served as the director at the Charlotte Community Library. David also has experience working at the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS) as their Community Engagement Librarian and at the Capital Area District Libraries in their Local History room. He comes to the Library of Michigan with 20+ years of varied library experience.

Michelle joins the Library Michigan as the Library Development Manager. Michelle most recently acted as the Director of Consulting at OhioNet. She served as the Manager of Engagement, Consulting & Training at Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS) and Director of Frankfort Community Public Library in Frankfort, Indiana. She has spent more than 20 years working with and for libraries in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Her varied and extensive library experience provides her with a unique perspective and ability to work closely with libraries of all types.
