Greetings, everyone!
We are in the process of evaluating a large collection of books pertaining to state or local history, most uncatalogued, that have been living in our basement storage. We also have a small local history room where some of these will eventually be placed.
My question: To what extent do you physically process older books? How do you evaluate "older", if these receive specific treatment?
Many thanks as I wade in over my head in "archival" materials handling!
