LIBRARIAN
SUMMARY
The part-time position will primarily provide reference desk coverage via face to face, phone, and email and perform other librarian duties as needed to support student learning and success. Part-time, 20 hours/week for spring 2023.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide face to face reference desk coverage, as well as via email, phone, or web conference.
* Library chat reference duties
* Create and update research guides on White Library LibGuide site
* Collection development duties as assigned
* Teach research skills and information literacy instruction as scheduled
* Assist cataloger with collection inventory
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* MLIS/MIS degree required ($20-22/hr). Will consider candidate currently in the aforementioned degree program ($15hr).
* Prior experience working in a library setting is preferred.
